Sweetspot and BookVisit have entered a strategic partnership that gives Nordic golf destinations one connected way to sell everything a guest books. The room, the table and the tee time sit in a single flow, and the facility handles all of it in one system.
BookVisit is the leading destination booking platform for the visitor industry in the Nordics, with thousands of connected properties. Sweetspot is a Nordic golf technology platform and a partner company to the Swedish Golf Federation. Between them they close a gap that golf destinations have carried for years: accommodation, spa and restaurant on one side, the course and the range on the other, and nothing joining the two.
One flow for the guest
Planning a golf trip has meant booking in two places. The stay is arranged with the hotel or resort, the round is arranged with the club, and the guest is left to assemble the trip themselves. The integration puts both in the same journey, so accommodation and play are booked together rather than pieced together.
How it works
The guest opens the destination's own booking page, powered by BookVisit, and chooses dates and accommodation.
In the same flow, the guest adds the rest of the stay: spa, restaurant and a tee time from the club's live availability.
One checkout, one payment, one confirmation covering everything.
The tee time is created in Sweetspot automatically. The club sees it like any other booking, with nothing to re-enter.
A guest booking two nights, dinner on Saturday and a 9:40 tee time on Sunday completes all of it in one visit. The club sees the tee time in Sweetspot exactly as any other booking.
One system for the facility
Golf facilities that also run accommodation, spa and restaurants – golf resorts, conference venues and destination clubs – can now handle the whole guest experience in one connected system, from the accommodation booking through to play on the course.
